GOAL WRITING, I fail that.

So my treatment plan for pediatrics sucked mostly because I fail at goal writing. So now I will write goals for myself for the Christmas break:
1. Gracie will be able to independently write three SMART goals by the end of this post.
2. Gracie will complete three knitted projects by January 2, 2012.
3. Gracie will consume a beer 3x/week with minimal assistance.
4. During the break, Gracie will go to the gym and run 4 miles (@ 9:30/mi. pace) 3x/week.

I hope I met goal #1 at least...

Underwhelmed For a Change

Why?
-This time around, grad school is a lot more bearable and I am having fun learning.
-Spent the Labor Day weekend in Florence (Oregon, not Italy) hanging out with old friends and meeting new ones.
-Finished my assignment for class on Friday early. Booyah!

Life is good.

Spigah

My roommate found a large spider in the garage where Greg and I like to hang out. Since then I have been having nightmares where I have to kill tarantulas with one little paper towel and I can feel the crunch under my hands. So sick.

Good things happen to good people (by chance)

I know there has been a large gap between now and my last post. That's mostly due to my disappointment that I was waitlisted for P.U.'s OT program, but Wednesday night I got a call that a seat opened up and I will be starting my OT adventure in the fall which is in less than week. Talk about stress levels going up. There is much to do before the semester starts so I better get on it.

Interview Granted!

Two days ago, I got an interview for Pacific's program! I am nervous as all hell. Can't say much more than that.

Anxiety Begins Now.

Just sent in my application for OT last week. I am scared because I have no Plan B if it doesn't work out. If it doesn't, it's not the end of the world. Still, rejection sucks.

New Job

I got a new job at a day care center today, which is really funny following the last post that I wrote (see Child Muzzle post). I hope to have some ha-larious posts to follow because, well, don't kids say the darnest things?
