New Job
I got a new job at a day care center today, which is really funny following the last post that I wrote (see Child Muzzle post). I hope to have some ha-larious posts to follow because, well, don't kids say the darnest things?

Child Muzzles
Lately my ears have been very sensitive to children noises (screeching, screaming, etc.) I am thinking of inventing child muzzles, like pacifiers that don't come out. Inhumane?Maybe. Necessary? Definitely. You can probably tell I don't have kids, nor currently want any.

Here I go again...
I just made my move to begin to apply to Occupational Therapy school at Pacific University. Pre-reqs here I come.
I think I have officially earned the professional student title.

N00B
I finished my first project since I started knitting over the break (Sorry for the early morning photobooth picture). I made a cowl scarf with some of this chunky purple-ish yarn I got yesterday (see previous post) and I think I made it a little too big for my neck, but I don't think it's too bad for my first one. Now on to hats!

First Snow Day of the Semester
The morning started out great with finding out that NAU's campus was closed today due to inclement weather. Because of this, Greg wanted to make a trip to Hasting's to get Assassin's Creed Dos and I wanted to get something, not sure what, but something to keep me from getting bored throughout the day. Driving was out of the question because Greg's truck was buried. It's the one with the most visible windshield wipers.
Pre-Hastings trek pictures:

Good eats at Burrito Fiesta (very Asian pose stolen from Forgetting Sarah Marshall)
And then a trip to Michael's for some yarn. Greg loves crafts!

1st day of my last semester!
I have finally come to, what I hope is, my last semester of my academic career. I'm so happy to be almost pau with school after seven years straight of higher education, I can't even express it in a way that is socially acceptable. On another positive note, I have also found out that one of the professors I am working for this semester doesn't need me to TA any of his classes! If you have had to grade crap papers before, you know exactly why I feel this way. Today was a good day.
